1013 Henry could hvae married Elizabeth Hardcastle at Hampthwaite 26.11.1804. This fits with the birth of their first known child's estimated birth in 1804. They appears to have resided in Ripon so Hampthwaite seems possible. Family (F1)

Witnesses at the marriage were William Henry Frederick Hodgson and Ellen Lucy Watson.

1015 Her name Annis is from her marriage certificate. Elsewhere it is Alice. There are a number of Alices and Annis birth registrations that could fit. Certificate required to determine. Senior, Alice aka Annis (I40)

1016 Hi, Tony. I'll ask my cousin Marilyn - my uncle George's daughter - if she has the wedding info. Shaw - George's father - had Parkinson's disease. He was getting frail and his wife took him back to England on the Empress of France for a final visit. From what I recall, on the trip - I can't remember if it was going there or on the way back - he said to her in their cabin that he was going to walk home. She thought he was joking. Cheers. ...D'Arcy Leeming, Shaw (I25)

1025 In both the 1901 and 1911 census Florence appears as a grandchild to Thomas & Sarah. It is likely that Florence was the daughter of Jane, Elizabeth or Sarah junior who are shown as single in both census and living at home with Thomas and Sarah in 1901 and just Sarah (widow) in 1911. The birth certificate Q3 1891 Keighley 9A 177 may solve the matter. Leeming, Unknown (I97)

1026 In Joseph's will of 1734 only four of his chidren are named - Joseph, George, Nathaniel & Sarah. He also names three sons-in-law - Chrispin Right, John Crabtree and William Fell. Maria (Mary) Leeming married William Fell so it can be presumed that Chrispin Right and John Crabtree each married one of the three daughters and the third had died by 1734. The above two marriges are yet to be found. Leeming, Joseph (I272)

1027 In the 1861 census Amelia is listed with the surname "Leeming". It is not known if this was an error of that she had been adopted. Herring, Amelia (I88)

1028 In the 1871 census Marmaduke's age is stated as 47 and he has a wife "Alice". The only marriage found for Marmaduke was in 1888 to Alice Wood. In the 1871 census indicates he has step-children with the surname "Wood".
It must be assumed that before thier marriage in 1888 they were living together with Alice's presumably illegitimate children whose father is not known.
Leeming, Marmaduke (I8)

1029 In the 1891 census James & Mary are living with with James's sister-in-law - Elizabeth Ann Caffrey. This gives Mary's maidenname and hence their marriage date can be found. Caffrey, Mary (I113)
